To apply for mobile and online banking service, please choose one of the two tabs listed below
to get further information on the process.

You maybe required to provide the following documents.

  • Photographic Proof of Identity i
    Current Drivers licence or Passport. Public Services Card cannot be accepted.
  • Proof of Address i
    A utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 6 months.
  • Proof of PPS Number i
    Can be found on a payslip, medical card or E111 card – we cannot accept the Public Services Card.

You will be contacted by the Credit Union if additional information is required to process your application.
When your application has been approved, you will receive a PIN (Personal Identification Number) by SMS which is required when you log into your account for the first time only.

Things to remember
  • You create your username when you register.
  • You create your password when you register.
  • Password must be at least 8 characters in length.
  • Usernames and passwords are both case sensitive so ensure the Cap Locks is not active when entering the details.
  • We advise that you guard your Online PIN, as charges for the re-issue of same will be passed on to members. Your online account session will expire after 10 minutes of inactivity; this is a security precaution. If you have problems viewing the website or online accounts please update your browser to the latest version.
  • If you are using a mobile device to access our Online please download the Link Credit Union App.

• 8 digit PIN and Password – as per industry best practice guidelines (upgrade from 4 digit pin).
• Secure Messaging – all account specific member communication is sent through a secure channel in Online Banking and App.
• PINs issued by SMS.

What do I need to do when registering?

You will need to set up a username.
A username should be easy to remember but not something which is directly linked to you or your account.
We recommend that you do not use your:
• Account Number
• Staff Number
• Pay Number
Your username should include at least 1 letter and 1 number. Your username should also be at least 6 characters long and not include spaces. Your username is case sensitive.
A PIN code will be issued to you via text message. You only need to use your PIN the first time you login. Thereafter in compliance with PSD2 regulations a One Time Password will be issued to you or you can use facial recognition or Touch ID to access your data securely.

Passwords must be created when registering. This should include at least 1 letter and 1 number. Please pay particular attention when creating this and avoid including spaces in your Password.
