Our Prize draw takes place every 2 months. Each draw will offer a cash prize fund consisting of one top prize of €10,000 and five further prizes of €1,000

The cost to participate in the draw is €60 per year for 6 draws. If you enter during the year, you will only be charged for the remaining draws. This works out at €10 per draw. The fee is collected annually from member share accounts by automated deduction in October.

Terms and Conditions of the Prize Draw

1. A Member’s Prize Draw will normally be held every 2 months with at least 6 draws annually. The Board reserves the right to alter the date or venue of any draw.
2. Each Member’s Prize Draw will consist of 1 x top prize of €10,000 and 5 x prizes of €1,000.
3. As additional members subscribe, extra prizes may be added. The number and value of prizes may vary from time to time depending on participation levels and the financial performance of the Member’s Prize Draw.
4. The decision of the Board of Directors (or its nominated committee) in relation to the operation of the Member’s Prize Draw shall be final.
5. Annual subscription is €60.
6. Members must complete attached authorisation form & post or hand it into any Link Credit Union Limited office or email a copy to marketing@linkcu.ie.
7. By entering the Member’s Prize Draw, members agree that, if they win, Link Credit Union Limited may publish their name and general locality (for example, town or village) for transparency purposes. Photographs will only be published with the member’s explicit consent.
8. Pay Yearly: €60 will be deducted from your shares at the beginning of each Credit Union financial year (October) & will continue annually thereafter unless otherwise notified.
9. In the event of a member joining the draw after October a pro-rata amount will apply (€10 per draw) eg. Join 1st Dec, then €10 x 5 draws will be deducted (€50).
10. The Member’s Prize Draw will take place bi-monthly until such time as the Board of Directors of Link Credit Union Limited shall deem otherwise.
11. The Member’s Prize Draw is open to individual members who are 18 years of age or over and to incorporated or unincorporated bodies, including clubs, societies and groups, that are validly admitted to membership of Link Credit Union Limited. In the case of a joint account, both members must sign the authorisation form. An incorporated or unincorporated body is eligible to participate in the Member’s Prize Draw in its own right, subject to these Terms and Conditions. Participation by such a body must be authorised by a person duly authorised to act on its behalf, and the Credit Union may require such evidence of that authority as it considers appropriate. Staff and volunteers of Link Credit Union Limited who are not directly involved in the administration or operation of the draw are eligible to enter the draw.
12. Annual fee will be deducted from member’s shares at the beginning of our financial year. Those with insufficient funds will be excluded from the draw. A new application form must be completed for re-entry to the draw.
13. It will be the member’s responsibility to ensure that they have adequate funds to remain in the Member’s Prize Draw.
14. Winners will be notified in writing. In the event of a joint account winning a prize, the prize will be paid jointly to both members of the joint account.
15. A register of entrants will be maintained in the Credit Union offices for inspection.
16. The Member’s Prize Draw will be self-financing and non-profit making: any additional funds will be disposed of by way of extra draws for extra prizes.
17. If a winning member is in arrears or in default of carrying out any financial commitment or obligation to the Credit Union, payment of the prize may be withheld until the member is no longer in arrears or otherwise in breach of any contractual obligation owed to the Credit Union. A decision to withhold a prize will be notified in writing to such a member.
18. Financial accounts at each year end will be audited by the external auditor and included in the annual report to members
19. Cash prizes will be paid directly into the winning member’s share account, or by such other means as the Board of Directors may determine. Where a prize cannot reasonably be paid or the member cannot be contacted, the Board of Directors may determine, acting reasonably, how the prize shall be dealt with.
20. All contact information given on this form will only be used by Link Credit Union Limited and will not be provided to any third-party. Personal data will be processed by Link Credit Union Limited for the administration of the Member’s Prize Draw in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Credit Union’s Privacy Notice.
21. The Board of Directors reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue the Member’s Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions at any time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so. Any material changes will be communicated to members.
22. Participation in the Member’s Prize Draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions shall take effect from October 2026 and replace all previous Terms and Conditions relating to the Member’s Car Draw.
