A Credit Union is a not‐for‐profit organisation and when you borrow from us, you are helping us to give back to the community.

So as a member, you can benefit from all the great services we have and your community benefits too.

All clubs, societies and voluntary organisations within the common bond are welcome to apply for donation and organisations.

A donation application form must be completed for submission to the donations committee. Forms can be emailed to marketing@linkcu.ie or dropped back into one of the offices.

Step Up Grant

The step-up grant is awarded to pupils progressing to 1st year in secondary school. Link Credit Union understand the financial strain of this period where educational costs are continuously increasing. We are here to help.

Link Credit Union offer 10 Step up grants to the value of €200 each. That’s €2,000 we donate back into the community to help with educational costs. Keep an eye on our social media pages and website for the launch of the scheme.

Scholarships

Third level education is one of the most expensive times that both parents and students experience, and we want to help ease the burden. We offer Ten scholarships of €1,000 scholarships to 10 lucky students. Students can apply by completing the application form. The winners are randomly selected and overseen by an independent person.

Any students aged between 17 and 24 are eligible to apply. Two of the scholarships are randomly selected from members that have taken out an educational loan with Link Credit Union to show appreciation to our loyal members who borrow from us.
